About VISUART
VISUART is an art and design contest organized by students for students of the Politehnica University of Bucharest. It’s completely free – besides, we have accepted the challenge of shaping the event completely online.
Throughout the five days of the event, VISUART offers you the opportunity to improve your art or design skills and to meet new people with whom to share ideas on a topic you are passionate about.
The competition will take place over 2 days in which participants are invited to create powerful artworks on a specific topic. On the fifth day of the event the winners will be announced. In addition, VISUART offers two days of workshops delivered by talented people.

- Can I participate in more than one workshop?
- You are welcome to participate in all of them, if you want!
- Do I have to be a student to compete in this event?
- You have to be a student at the Politehnica University of Bucharest!
- Do I have to be present throughout the whole competition period?
- Not necessarily, but if any technical issues arise, you can only announce them on Discord.
- Can I join the workshops even if I don’t enter the competition?
- Yes, you can surely participate in whichever workshop you choose, regardless of your decision of taking part in the competition or not.
- What are Art and Graphic Design?
- A work of art stems from a view or opinion or feeling that the artist holds within him or herself that can be interpreted by each viewer. A designer sets out to create a new piece, they almost always have a fixed starting point, whether a message, an image, an idea or an action which must be clear and focused on the needs of the people that interact with it.
